How long does a Presale Property Makeover take?
The duration of a Presale Property Makeover largely depends on the extent of home improvements and size of the property. To give you an idea, generally a makeover takes between 2 and 4 weeks from start to finish once the scope of work and price is agreed and all trades are locked in. In all cases though, as explained on our website, there is a process to go through so its better to allow more than that to agree the scope and the cost of the works so everything can be planned in advance.
Can I still live in my home during the Presale Makeover Process?
The ideal situation for all involved during the makeover process is for the property to be empty, however; we know this is not always possible so we will work with you to ensure all your belongings are safe and secure during the makeover. We always talk our clients through the risks and inform our trades if your are living in the property. Additionally our makeover process also helps our clients to focus on decluttering and styling in advance if they are living in the property which is another key aspect of preparing a property for sale.
